Scope and effective date
This Privacy Policy applies to OverlayImage.app and is effective August 26, 2026. By using the site, you acknowledge the practices described here. The service does not currently offer user accounts, payments, public uploads, or persistent cloud projects.
Your image files
Images you open in the editor are read, transformed, composited, and exported by code running in your current browser. The image files and finished composition are not sent to our server or placed in cloud storage. Closing or refreshing the page clears the active editing session unless your browser itself preserves page state.
Technical request data
Like most websites, the infrastructure that delivers and protects OverlayImage.app may process basic request information such as IP address, requested path, date and time, browser or device characteristics, referrer, and security signals. This data is used to deliver the site, prevent abuse, diagnose failures, and maintain reliability; it does not include the image contents in your editor.
Website analytics
We may use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand aggregate traffic and performance. Its browser beacon can collect page and performance measurements, along with dimensions such as country, path, referrer, device type, browser, and operating system. We use these signals to improve the site, not to upload or inspect your images or build cross-site advertising profiles.
Emails you send us
When you email support@overlayimage.app, we receive your email address, message, and any information or attachments you choose to include. We use that information to answer the request, investigate a problem, prevent abuse, and improve the service. Please do not attach confidential images unless they are necessary for support.
Storage, cookies, and retention
OverlayImage.app does not require an account cookie to use the image tool. Our infrastructure may use necessary network or security technologies to deliver and protect the site. Technical records and support emails are retained only for as long as reasonably needed for security, operations, legal obligations, and responding to you.
Service providers and disclosure
We rely on infrastructure providers, including Cloudflare, to host, deliver, secure, and measure the website. They process limited data under their own terms and privacy commitments. We may also disclose information when reasonably required by law, to protect rights and safety, or to investigate misuse. We do not sell your image files or support contact information.
Your choices and children's privacy
You can avoid providing support information by not emailing us and can control browser privacy settings or blocking features. You may ask us about, correct, or delete information you provided by email, subject to legitimate security or legal retention needs. The service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
Policy changes and contact
